Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth
your possession. Psalm 2:8
……………….
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken
those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim
among the nations what he has done.
Psalm 9:9-11
……………….
First off, Georgian and Rolland had a fantastic meeting with Ambrose, who
is the head of religious affairs for the nation of Sudan. This was truly
a divine
appointment, and we believe an open door for future things in Sudan.

During the two-day feeding outreach in the refugee camp, where life is
so incredibly rough, the sweetness of the Lord showed up profoundly.
Hands were raised
during the altar calls, and Jesus started healing some people.
Mostly, it seemed like people were being set free from stomach pains,
ulcers,
chest
and heart ailments.

Ministering to the people along the banks of the Nile was completely
different. Here the people survive by making bricks for just pennies
a day.

The team set up their equipment, and kept pouring out joy. Finally they got
the people to participate. Surprise Sithole preached and they had an altar
call. It was hard for the Moslems to step out like this, but there was enough
of a response from the crowd, and then healings began to happen.
One man on his sick bed literally rose up, and then picked up his bed (sound
familiar?) After that, the team fed the people.
Returning the next day, the team was immediately greeted by an eager crowd
and big smiles. Georgian fired up a tunnel of joy, and the people jumped
right in to dancing and participating with what God was doing.

Then Rolland preached. Georgian said that there was so much glory in Rolland’s
voice, and so much authority, that he could almost see the sword coming out
of his mouth, and hear the metal clashing against the darkness as it broke
off every chain and yoke. Rolland gave an altar call, and 40 or 50 accepted
Jesus that afternoon.
(Can you imagine the sword coming out of Jesus’ mouth? Is. 11:4
and Rev. 1:16)

Afterwards there was a celebratory feast. Georgian had been inspired to bring
a load of watermelons as an addition to the fish and bread that the team brought. This
was a rare treat, and a real big hit with the people.

At the end of the day, as the team started making motions to leave, the people
cried out, 'please don’t leave yet, play some more music!' Georgian didn’t
need to be asked twice, and quickly grabbed his violin for one more group
frolic with the Lord. In just a few days, the change among these people was
so drastic.

Being born for moments like these, this team would have gladly stayed, for
they knew that something really awesome would happen. However, their main
course was apostolic, the establishment of a sure foundation for future things:
future crusades, and, bringing the orphans OUT of the refugee camp and into
much better living conditions. So on they go!

Thank you Lord for giving us a gatekeeper into Sudan, an open door. Let the kingdoms
of this world become the Kingdoms of our GOD!
